Woodland: March 8, 2008:
Frank and I once again headed up to do the pictures for our web site. The weather was looking at being a super day for racing as later on proved to be. With a few showers the night before set the track up for perfect conditions. By race time there seemed to be no mud on the track and the dust held off all day which made for some awesome traction. All the racers seemed to like the lay-out of the track.
As you left the Start straight you went into a power-slide to the left to a small table top that the experts could clear. Around another left sweeper into a tight right turn towards the Woodland jump. Up and over and into a right turn that sent you into a corner section through and around the stumps. As you left this section you entered a group of small elevation changes with some multi lined carousel turns. Coming out of the turns you could get some air heading down the straights. Through some tight turns and blast out down the straight to the small table top off the start. Just a super day and track for racing.
The day was filled with some good tight racing. None better than moto 2 between fellow Yamaha racers Randy Webber and Andrew Sullivan!!
Going into the first turn, Who had the better Line? Who was going to get the upper hand going to the table top?
Still to close to call. Randy on the inside Randy getting the edge on Andrew
with Andrew hard on the outside.

Randy and Andrew in one tough and close battle. Both on the gas hard.
With Randy leading, Andrew kept the pressure on using different lines in and out of the turns. This was indeed one of those Epic races you can only hope you can either be in one or at least get the privelage to watch.
